On 10 October 2012 the Queensland Government announced plans to duplicate the Centerary Highway southbound from the Logan Motorway Interchange, Forest Lake to Springfield Parkway, Springfield. Read more
Public transport
Springfield Lakes has a bus service and easy access to rail stations at Richlands and Goodna.
The Springfield rail line has been fast tracked by two years and will be running by 2013.
